CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a partnership between a farmer and local consumers in which everyone shares the risks and the bounty of farming. In CSA, you buy a membership in a nearby farm at the beginning of the season. Then each week you go to a designated site to pick up your box of wholesome farm produce, hand-picked by your farmer-partner.
